Our mission
The European Colloid and Interface Society (ECIS) e.V. is a non-profit Society (gemeinnütziger Verein) according to German law registered in Mainz.
ECIS is a voluntary, non-profit organization of scientists. Its objective is to advance colloid and interface science and to promote cooperations between European scientists. Particular emphasis is given to the support of young scientists. ECIS seeks to cooperate with existing national societies in European countries as well as with other international organizations.
Board & Secretariate
The Board acts as executive on behalf of the General Assembly. The Board consists of the President of the Society, the Vice President, and the Past President. Current members (2023-2025):
